Welcome to St. Cuthbert’s Catholic Primary School. My name is Angela Garrity and I am privileged to be the Head Teacher of our wonderful school community.

We proudly serve the Parish of St. Cuthbert’s, Chester-le-Street, welcoming families from the local area and beyond. Gospel Values such as faith, service and trust are at the heart of daily life in our school and help to create the warm, supportive atmosphere that makes St. Cuthbert’s such a special place to learn and grow.

Our mission is to help children develop into confident, caring and responsible members of both the local and global community. We nurture a sense of togetherness, encourage every child to develop their individual talents and support them to grow in mind, body and spirit. As a UNICEF Rights Respecting School, we inspire our children to be the very best they can be while always showing compassion and consideration for others.
